Coffee, after decades of bad press, is finally coming into its own. There continue to be health reports that note the benefits of having a daily cup of coffee. In addition to research which shows that a daily cup of java could have positive effects on a person’s ability to stave off strokes, Parkinson’s disease and type 2 diabetes, recent research has shown that coffee drinkers can now add a lower risk of getting a certain type of liver cancer to the benefits of downing their favorite beverage.

Most common type of liver cancer foiled

Researchers from the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Southern California have shown a positive correlation between drinking coffee and a lower risk of hepatocellular carcinoma. These findings, targeted to this type of liver cancer, also known as HCC, were presented at the American Association of Cancer Research’s annual meeting. During that presentation, researchers noted that people who are at high risk for HCC should aim to drink coffee on a daily basis.

According to V. Wendy Setiawan, Ph.D., a doctor and associate professor at the Department of Preventive Medicine at the University of California, the study involved following 179,890 women and men over the course of 18 years. The study participants were of varying races, including Latinos, Caucasians, Hawaiian Americans, African Americans and Japanese Americans. Researchers tracked the participants’ coffee consumption, as well as other factors related to their lifestyles.

Of the participants in the study, 498 of them were eventually diagnosed with HCC. Researchers, however, noted an interesting correlation between the amount of coffee consumed and the likelihood of the study’s participants to develop cancer. For those people who drank, on average, one to three cups of coffee each day, their risk for developing HCC was 29% lower compared to those who drank less than six cups of coffee each week.

Greater coffee consumption equals lower liver cancer risk

Even more startling were the results of those people who drank four, or more, cups of coffee each day. These people showed a 42% lower risk of developing liver cancer. While these results are encouraging, they are not the first time that a positive relationship between coffee consumption and a lower risk of liver cancer has been shown.

Years of studies show a positive result

In 2013, a study published in the medical journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology analyzed published data from years of studies. The studies pulled included 16 from between 1999 and 2012, with results showing a 40% reduction in the risk of HCC with the consumption of coffee. Additionally, the risk was slashed by 50% when individuals drank at least three cups of coffee each day.

The controversy surrounding one of the world’s most popular artificial sweeteners, aspartame (NutraSweet, Equal), continues some 30 years after the chemical was rammed through the regulatory process by pharmaceutical interests, despite its well-documented dangers. And yet to this very day, many people are still unaware of the chemical sweetener’s sordid history, not to mention what aspartame is actually made from and how it affects the body and brain.

To many, aspartame is just another FDA-approved sugar alternative that has to be safe, otherwise it wouldn’t be on the market. But the truth about aspartame is much more sinister, including how the chemical sweetener gained market approval http://www.fda.gov. And there’s so much more to the aspartame story that you’ve probably never heard before, thanks to government collusion with powerful drug interests.

1) Aspartame is converted by the body into formaldehyde, a cancer-causing chemical.
Composed of three unique compounds, aspartame is a synergistically toxic chemical, meaning the sum of its individual parts is exponentially more toxic than each one by itself. And yet even in isolation, the three main constituents found in aspartame — aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and methanol — are idiosyncratically toxic in their own right.

Free methanol in particular is highly toxic, converting first into formaldehyde and then into formic acid upon consumption. Unlike the methanol found in alcoholic beverages and various fruits and vegetables, the methanol produced by aspartame is not accompanied by ethanol, which acts as a protector against methanol poisoning. By itself, methanol embalms living tissues and damages DNA, and can cause lymphoma, leukemia, and other forms of cancer.

2) Aspartame causes obesity and metabolic syndrome.
Artificial sweeteners are typically viewed as a safe alternative to sugar, which many people now recognize as a cause of weight gain and metabolic disorders like diabetes when consumed in excess. But a number of scientific studies have found that chemicals like aspartame are perhaps even more damaging, as they promote weight gain in ways unrelated to caloric intake.

A study published in the journal Appetite back in 2013 found that compared to sucrose, a form of sugar, aspartame is actually worse in terms of promoting weight gain. Similar research published in the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine (YJBM) found that aspartame alters the body’s natural production of hormones, increasing both appetite and sugar cravings.

3) Reagan-appointed FDA commissioner helped get aspartame approved despite evidence showing its toxicity.
Believe it or not, aspartame was an accidental discovery made by scientists working on the development of an ulcer drug for G.D. Searle and Company, a pharmaceutical corporation that was later acquired by Monsanto in 1985. When researchers discovered that the chemical had a sweet taste, G.D. Searle presented it to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for commercial approval.

But the earliest safety studies conducted on the chemical found that it caused grand mal seizures and death in monkeys, findings that were withheld from the FDA. When FDA scientists discovered on their own that aspartame was unsafe, G.D. Searle made a strategic move, waiting for a new FDA commissioner appointed by the late Ronald Reagan to force the chemical through the approval process.

The details of this political transaction are spelled out in the following document posted at the FDA’s own website, but suffice it to say that aspartame was never proven to be safe. It was only through corruption that this artificial sweetener ended up making its way into more than 9,000 consumer products, many of which still contain it today:
http://www.fda.gov

4) Aspartame is made from the feces of genetically-modified (GM) E. coli bacteria.
Another disturbing fact about aspartame is that it is produced from the feces of genetically-modified E. coli bacteria. Similar to the fermentation process, E. coli are modified with special genes that cause them to produce unnaturally high levels of a special enzyme that, as a byproduct, produces the phenylalanine needed for aspartame production.

5) Aspartame crosses the blood-brain barrier, potentially causing permanent brain damage.
Aspartame is composed of roughly 40 percent aspartic acid, a free-form amino acid that has the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. When excess amounts of this compound via aspartame enter the body, brain cells are bombarded with an excess of calcium. The result is neural cell damage and even cell death, which can lead to serious brain damage.

In extreme cases, exposure to aspartic acid, also known as aspartate, can cause neurological conditions like epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease, and is also implicated in causing diseases like multiple sclerosis (MS) and dementia. Endocrine disorders, or imbalanced or inadequate hormone production, are also linked to so-called “excitotoxin” exposure, or exposure to free-form amino acids like aspartate that overstimulate the brain.

Approximately 71 million adults in the US suffer from high cholesterol, and only a third of these have it under control. (1) Considering that the condition significantly increases the risk of heart disease, management of high cholesterol is critically important. (2) While many Americans turn to prescription meds to control their cholesterol levels, there is a safer and more permanent approach: changing your diet. Read on to learn our picks for 10 amazing diet secrets to lower cholesterol and prevent heart disease.

1. Edamame
These vibrantly colored soybeans have a sweet taste and an even sweeter body benefit: They’re rich in soluble fiber and isoflavones, both of which reduce cholesterol levels. An added benefit? Edamame is packed with protein — a delicious and do-gooding snack!

2. Oats
We all know that breakfast is an important way to keep your body fueled throughout the day. Why not multiply the energizing effects of your morning meal by reaching for the oats? Foods like oatmeal and oat-based cereals offer cholesterol-reducing properties thanks to a high soluble fiber content. Just how much can oat consumption reduce your cholesterol levels? Up to 7 percent! (3)

3. Green Tea
While black tea can also lead to decreased cholesterol levels, green tea is particularly effective, because it is prepared from leaves that have not undergone the fermentation process. The result? A higher concentration of cholesterol-lowering antioxidants called catechins.

4. Beans
Yes, this “musical fruit” is good for your heart, but why? Beans are high in soluble fiber, which binds cholesterols during the digestive process and propels them from the body. From kidney beans to black-eyed peas and from lentils to limas, beans are versatile, tasty and an important partner in the fight against high cholesterol.

5. Nuts
If you restrict your nut intake because of their high caloric content, reconsider. An abundance of research shows that nuts — including peanuts, walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, pecans, almonds and others — are rich in plant sterols, which prevent the absorption of cholesterol. Just a handful a day — up to two ounces — is all you need. (4)

6. Avocados
Creamy, flavorful antioxidant avocados contain oleic acid, which not only lowers bad (LDL) cholesterol but also gives good cholesterol a boost. As if that’s not enough, avocados are loaded with fiber and beta-sitosterol, a plant chemical which helps moderate cholesterol levels.

7. Pears
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but pectin-packed pears aren’t too shabby either — particularly when it comes to lowering cholesterol. In fact, fresh pears surpass apples in pectin content, which ushers cholesterol from the body before it is absorbed. To maximize fiber intake, don’t peel the skin: just wash and eat. Peaches, oranges and bananas are also loaded with this beneficial type of fiber.

8. Tomatoes
Don’t feel guilty about eating that bowl of whole-wheat pasta; just slather it in tomato sauce to help keep cholesterol in check. Tomatoes are bursting with lycopene, a plant compound which lowers LDL cholesterol levels. Cooked and processed tomatoes enhance lycopene absorption, so stock up on tomato juice, tomato soup and other tomato-based treats.

9. Eggplant
While eggplant may not immediately come to mind when pondering cholesterol-reducing foods, this purple plant offers a multitude of health benefits, including controlling LDL cholesterol levels. In fact, some research has shown that including eggplant in a meal lowers cholesterol by up to 30 percent thanks to its high soluble fiber content. (5) Okra also falls into the category of little known cholesterol-reducing veggies.

10. Fish
The benefits of a plant-based diet are increasingly evident, but sometimes you need to go fish. Salmon, lake trout, mackerel, herring, sardines and other fatty fish are high in LDL-reducing omega-3 fatty acids. Just how beneficial is eating fish? The American Heart Associations recommends its consumption at least twice weekly. (6)

If you suffer from high cholesterol, don’t reach for the pills. Instead, try these 10 foods which offer a simple — and delicious — way to reduce your cholesterol and enjoy optimal heart health.

How often are parents aware of the ingredients contained in the multivitamin that they feed their children? We often believe what we hear without ever questioning what mass marketing and media has to say about a product. In this case they have led thousands of parents to purchase multivitamins because they believe it has significant nutritional value.

But do these vitamins truly provide nutritional benefit? If so, at what cost?   If we look at the Flintstones vitamin, (one of the top multivitamins in the United States) it contains a number of genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), aspartame, aluminum, petroleum-derived artificial colours and more.

All of these ingredients are not optimal for health and can be very toxic. You can view the entire list of ingredients here.

Lets take a closer look at some of these ingredients.

Aspartame

Aspartame is known to damage the brain at any dose by leaving traces of Methanol in the blood. It makes you wonder why Aspartame has been approved as “safe” and is found in thousands of food products; not to mention children’s vitamins. It’s also linked to Lymphoma and Leukaemia. You can read more about that here and here (sources provided at the bottom). It’s basically a synthetic combination of the amino acids aspartic acid and I-phenylalanine. It’s known to convert into toxic methanol and formaldehyde in the body. Hopefully this motivates you to further your research.

Sorbitol

Sorbitol is a synthetic sugar substitute which is classified as a sugar alcohol. The ingestion of higher amounts have been linked to gastrointestinal disturbances from abdominal pain to more serious conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome.

Hydrogenated Soybean Oil

Anything marketed to children that contains hydrogenated soybean oil is irresponsible. They are semi-synthetic fatty acids that incorporate themselves into our tissues. They’ve been linked to dozens of harmful health effects, from coronary artery disease to cancer and fatty liver disease.

Ferrous Fumarate

This is quite remarkable that Ferrous Fumarate is an ingredient here. There is a clear warning on the Flintstone’s web site concerning this chemical. It’s used as an iron supplement. When consuming iron that comes naturally in food, it’s impossible to inject toxic amounts that can cause death. But when taking Ferrous Fumarate, fatal levels of toxicity can be reached.

Cupric Oxide

According the European Union’s Dangerous Substance Directive, Cupric Oxide is listed as a hazardous substance. It’s classified as both harmful and dangerous to the environment. It is used as a pigment in ceramics and as a chemical in the production of rayon fabric and dry cell batteries. It is indeed a mineral, but should this really be a nutrient in a children’s vitamin?

Brief Summary of Bayer Pharmaceuticals

Most pharmaceutical companies, like Bayer, the developer of the Flintstones vitamins, do not have the best track record. Bayer is a German chemical and pharmaceutical company founded in 1863. In 1925, it became part of IG Farben, a German chemical industry conglomerate. This chemical company had board members that were responsible for the creation of the Federal Reserve, like Paul Warburg (2), who sat on the board of the Federal Reserve as well as I.G Farben. It was a corporation well connected with the Rockefeller’s, and the second largest shareholder in Standard Oil. The investment was part of a pattern of reciprocal investments between the U.S. and Germany during the Nazi years (3). It’s well known that IG Farben was closely connected with the Nazi’s. They held the patent for the pesticide Zyklon B, the chemical used in gas chambers. Some of IG Farben’s directors were accused as war criminals, while others continued on with the agenda we see taking form today. We can see a conflict of interest through the companies shareholders when it comes to the creation of pharmaceutical products.

I think it’s time for us to examine what we choose to feed our children. All it takes is a little investigation and stepping into our own awareness of what is going on around us. Many of us live a robotic life style, we are all here doing the same thing. We’ve been programmed to grow up, work and spend most of our hours doing just that. While we participate in a 9-5, eat sleep watch TV, participate in a number of activities for entrainment purposes type of reality, there are those working behind the scenes manipulating the consciousness of the human race. All we have to do is notice, after that we can begin making better choices in our own lives. The world is indeed waking up, something new is desired, the current Earth paradigm is one many people don’t resonate with any more. A lot of us feel that it’s time to move on, grow and explore our infinite potentiality.

In some places, towns essentially shut down in the afternoon while everyone goes home for a siesta. Unfortunately, in the U.S.—more bound to our corporate lifestyles than our health—a mid-day nap is seen as a luxury and, in some cases, a sign of pure laziness. But before you feel guilty about that weekend snooze or falling asleep during a movie, rest assured that napping is actually good for you and a completely natural phenomena in the circadian (sleep-wake cycle) rhythm.

As our day wears on, even when we get enough sleep at night, our focus and alertness degrade. While this can be a minor inconvenience in modern times, it may have meant life or death for our ancestors. Whether you are finishing up a project for work or hunting for your livelihood, a nap can rekindle your alertness and have your neurons back up and firing on high in as little as 15 to 20 minutes.

Big name (and high-dollar) companies recognize this. Google and Apple are just a few that allow employees to have nap time. Studies have affirmed that short naps can improve awareness and productivity. Plus, who wouldn’t love a boss that lets you get a little shut-eye before the afternoon push?

A study from the University of Colorado Boulder found that children who missed their afternoon nap showed less joy and interest, more anxiety, and poorer problem solving skills than other children. The same can be seen in adults that benefit from napping. Researchers with Berkeley found an hour nap to dramatically increase learning ability and memory. Naps sort of provide a reboot, where the short term memory is cleared out and our brain becomes refreshed with new defragged space.

So how long should you nap? sleep_naps   Experts say a 10 to 20 minute “power nap” is best for refreshing your mind and increasing energy and alertness. The sleep isn’t as deep as longer naps, which allows you to get right back at your day upon waking. A 30 minute nap can lead to 30 minutes of grogginess, as you are often waking just as your body enters the deeper stages of sleep.

You’ll experience some of that same fogginess if you sleep for an hour, but 60 minute naps are good for memory boosting. The longest naps—around 90 minutes—are good for those people who just don’t get enough sleep at night. It’s a complete sleep cycle and can improve emotional memory and creativity.

Naps are good for you—physically and mentally. But don’t sacrifice night time zzz’s for an afternoon snooze; take your nap in addition to a good night’s sleep.

The REAL Truth About Coconut Oil
Plus, Four “Common Yet Dangerous” Oils You Should Never Eat… If You Want to Heal, Beautify and Restore Your Body!

April 14, 2014

Jake Carney, Founder
The Alternative Daily

Here’s a newsflash I’m sure won’t surprise you… nothing concocted in a laboratory can ever replace the value of what is found in nature!

cracked

Mother Nature is incredibly generous in the way she provides – offering a bounty of fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, minerals and nutrients to nourish your body so you can enjoy a long healthy life.

One fruit in particular – the coconut – is so abundant in its healing properties it’s referred to as “the tree of life.” And before World War II, people living in island countries, like the Philippines, consumed a diet that consisted mainly of rice, root crops, vegetables and an abundance of the ultra-healing superfood, the coconut.

The coconut is a “functional food” rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber – the essential nutritional building blocks for perfect health.

For generations, island people considered it “The Cure for All Illness” and consumed the meat, milk and coconut oil daily. Although this diet was high in saturated fat, Western conditions like diabetes, cancer and heart disease were virtually unheard of.

Filipinos and islanders were instead rewarded with a lovely youthful complexion, soft wrinkle-free skin, almost no skin cancer – even with excessive exposure to year round sun – and abundant good health.

Coconut oil in particular has been shown to protect you from viruses, bacteria, infection, cancer, thyroid, brain and heart problems… plus beautifies your skin – and even burns fat!

Coconut oil – a saturated fat – is chock-full of health-promoting properties – and is in no way responsible for high cholesterol, obesity, heart disease and the bad effects you’ve been led to believe.

Finally, modern medicine and science are starting to realize this fundamental truth… and it’s been a long time coming. But sadly not before heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity and a whole host of other catastrophic diseases have reached epidemic proportions!

The Saturated-Fat Myth That Robbed You of Your Good Health!
Before World War II, the miracle-healing coconut had been used to help alleviate:

Coughs
Constipation
Malnutrition
Skin infections
Toothaches
Earaches
Flus
And more!

But that all changed when the war ended and the United States proclaimed hydrogenated oils to be the “healthier oils.” By the 1960s, a weak scientific theory claimed that saturated fats-like those found in butter, eggs, milk, red meat and coconuts – increased “bad” LDL cholesterol and were dangerous to consume.

Nothing was further from the truth! But this “health scare” was enough to push the public away from saturated fats and instead to refined vegetable oils. This was perfect for food manufacturers because they were far cheaper to produce.

It wasn’t long before Western-style diets made their way to the islands and the old ways were forgotten.

Cheaper, mass-produced hydrogenated foods replaced traditional foods, like the versatile and all-healing coconut oil that had kept the islanders healthy for generations.

And for the first time ever, diseases that had become prevalent among Americans… heart disease, diabetes, cancer and obesity started to plague the island nations.

The Four Unhealthy “Healthy Oils” You Should Never Consume!
Decades ago when food processing first began, it became regular practice to alter that which nature provided. Thus began the era of “frankenfoods.”

Whole, nutritious natural foods that mostly came straight from the farm to the table were replaced by over-processed, refined and chemical laden, mass-produced convenience foods.

And fats were no different. Over four decades healthy sources of fats were replaced with vegetable oils that were thought to be “better-for-you.” We now know they’ve done more harm than good.

The following four are the worst offenders you should avoid at all costs:

Canola – Animals and insects avoid it in nature, here’s why you should too…

There is no such thing as a canola in nature. Canola oil is actually a modified version of rapeseed oil. Asian and Indian cultures used rapeseed oil for centuries, but it was never consumed in the large quantities that Americans do.

The rape plant (in the mustard family) contains cyanide-containing compounds and wild animals and even insects avoid it in nature.

The refining process of deodorizing and bleaching to become canola oil involves exposing rapeseed oil to high heat, which greatly reduces the omega 3 content (perhaps it’s only original redeeming factor).

Consumption of this “GMO Oil” has been linked to muscular disorders and fatty degeneration of the heart, kidneys, adrenals and thyroid gland. To avoid it, check labels closely – even in so-called healthy products – because it’s practically everywhere.

Cottonseed Oil – An industrial plant saturated with pesticides…

Thousands of commercially produced foods contain cottonseed oil; everything from canned foods to chips and other packaged items. It is even in beverages such as Gatorade. However, cotton is not a food crop, and is therefore not treated like an edible crop but an industrial one.

Virtually anything can be sprayed on cotton plants to ward off insects and induce growth. Dangerous poisons such as trifluralin, cyanide, dicofol, propargite and naled are used on cotton crops. These work their way deep into the plants, literally transforming them into toxic organisms.

While it may be ok for making pants and shirts, cottonseed oil is truly not safe to consume. The majority of cotton plants are genetically modified – altered at the molecular level. Even though we are not eating the cotton plant directly, the extracted oil contains the same properties as the plant.

Besides a high amount of omega-6 fatty acids, cottonseed oil has a similar protein structure to peanuts, so people who are allergic to peanuts may have a serious allergic reaction to this oil, as well. However, the FDA does not require an allergy label on the oil – even though peanut oils can be fatal.

Safflower – Studies show an increase of Omega-6 also increases the rate of death by heart disease, reason enough to avoid this oil…

If you still believe that saturated fat and cholesterol are a direct cause of heart disease then safflower oil probably seems like a healthy swap.

Previous studies had found that by substituting animal fats with vegetable oils such as safflower, cholesterol levels would indeed drop.

However, what the earlier studies failed to evaluate was the high ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fats in these oils and that the amount of omega-6 fatty acids in the American diet was growing astronomically.

Researchers now have evidence that it may not be cholesterol that kills, but omega-6’s. When a group of individuals replaced animal fats with omega-6-rich safflower oil, their cholesterol levels decreased, however, the rates of death from cardiovascular disease and coronary artery disease increased significantly as compared to those consuming the animal fats.

These results prompted researchers to re-evaluate their theories on saturated fat, cholesterol and heart disease and point the finger at the formerly dubbed “heart-healthy” omega-6 fatty acid.

Soybean – The GMO, hormone disrupting nightmare “health” food they keep telling you is safe…

Oh, the ever-questionable soybean. While marketers will have you believe that soy is beneficial because our healthy Asian counterparts consume it regularly, this is arguably one of the biggest nutritional myths out there. Asians enjoy soy in its fermented state and in considerably smaller quantities than we do.

Ninety-three percent of American soy is GMO and most of the soy we consume is in its unfermented state. This highly processed soy has been linked to numerous conditions including thyroid damage and hormone disruption thanks to its large quantities of estrogen-like compounds called phytoestrogens. As for soybean oil, up to 80 percent of the oil we consume today is soybean oil.

It’s highly processed and heavily hydrogenated and found in a vast majority of products on supermarket shelves. And don’t think choosing organic soy makes you any safer… as some so-called “organic” soy farms have been found to be fraudulent… passing off the GMO-product for the real thing. It’s best to avoid soybean oil completely.

We can almost guarantee you have one of these oils or foods containing these oils sitting in your pantry right now. Maybe you even used one of these oils when you cooked your dinner last night. And today you’re coming to the sad realization that YOU’VE BEEN LIED TO BY THE FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY.

Actual healthy foods have been vilified-and your “so-called” healthy food choices have been manipulated by manufacturers getting richer by the day. All while your diet has grown more and more nutritionally-void every day!

Coconut Oil Contains the Healthiest Substance on Earth!
It’s no secret breast feeding is about the best thing a mother can do to boost her child’s immune system. What makes mother’s milk so healthy is that it contains high amounts of lauric acid.

Outside of mother’s milk there are only three dietary sources of lauric acid – and coconut oil is the most concentrated of the three!

Coconut Oil Fuels Your Metabolism!
Researchers have discovered that in cultures where unrefined coconut oil is a part of the everyday diet, there is less obesity and less lifestyle-related disease.

Unfortunately, very little coconut oil is consumed in the U.S. and metabolic syndrome—along with its symptoms of obesity, diabetes and heart disease—is reaching epidemic proportions!

Coconut Oil Boosts Your Thyroid!
Over 13 million Americans suffer from low thyroid function with little understanding of the cause. It’s really no wonder because most processed foods contain iodine blockers—and iodine is essential for optimum thyroid function! If you’re cooking with vegetable oil—it’s time to stop for your thyroid’s sake!

Plus, without a healthy thyroid, weight loss is nearly impossible—especially for women.

Coconut Oil Protects and Beautifies Your Skin!
People living in the tropics have beautiful, wrinkle-free skin because coconut oil is not only part of their diet—but also their beauty regimen!

Coconut oil is a naturally moisturizing cleanser—and an effective sunscreen, blocking out 20 percent of harmful rays… thanks to the medium-chain fatty acids that protect and heal the skin at the same time.

Coconut Oil Can Save Your Brain!
Alzheimer’s is on the rise—but you can do something now to protect your brain from the devastating effects of this savage disease!

How? By helping your body produce ketones—an alternative energy source for your brain! When MCTs—medium chain triglicerides—are metabolized by the body, ketones are created.

Just where can you find MCTs? In coconut oil, of course!

Coconut Oil Fights Cancer!
Cancer cells feed and grow in our body until the illness can eventually take over and ruin our health. And that’s only if it doesn’t kill us.

Don’t be terrified by cancer anymore! Because researchers have discovered it’s possible to actually “starve” cancer cells—and this pro-active defense leaves the body more able to fight the disease than being assaulted with chemotherapy!

Coconut Oil is the Ultimate Detox!
Detoxing is quite popular these days—but beware! Many detox methods found on the internet are not grounded in science but are instead “fad” diets meant to make someone else a lot of money!

Coconut oil has amazing detox abilities and bolsters your energy during a detox program!

Coconut Oil is Amazing for Heart Health!

Heart disease is a scary disease often treated with even scarier drugs—like statins! Statins (cholesterol lowering drugs) deplete the body of vital heart-nourishing nutrients and can do more harm than good!

Coconut oil is full of heart-healing benefits and can help prevent the need for such drugs—and even help keep you from getting sick in the first place!

WARNING: Not ALL Coconut Oil is Created Equally!

Firstly, not all coconut oil is created equal—some are better than others. As was the case when coconut oil was used heavily in the food processing industry years ago, there is still a lot of refined coconut oil in circulation. Obviously, the more processed the oil, the less health benefits it possesses.
